About The Event

The primary purpose of the documentary project, is to impact the public discourse on race, and move the discourse from the “blame, grievance, rejection” cycle to a view from a different lens; the lens of “amity, collaboration, access and equity.”

In 2010 the National Center for Race Amity (NCRA) was established at Wheelock College in Boston, Massachusetts, and is directed by Dr. William H. “Smitty” Smith. Dr. Smith, a member of the Bahá’í Faith, who has spearheaded many diversity and race unity initiatives over the years.
