Youth and Young Adult Initiatives
The youth and young adults in our community actively engage in a blend of spiritual, educational, and service-oriented activities that build both personal character and community capacity. This most often includes participating in facilitating and/or assisting with junior youth empowerment groups, children's classes, and study circles; organizing devotional gatherings, and spaces for meaningful conversations; mentoring to younger children and initiating service projects that respond to real needs in the neighborhoods, such as supporting the elderly, environmental clean-ups, arts-based programs and social action. Through these activities, young people develop leadership, moral insight, and a strong sense of responsibility for the well-being and unity of their communities.

Youth Ruhi Institute
There is a sequence of courses that allow groups to study the Baha’i Writings and build capacity to apply the teachings of Bahá’u’lláh to the transformation of society. There are many study circles where friends gather together to learn and build their capacity for community service, discussing topics about life and death, arising to serve, teaching children’s classes, junior youth groups, marriage, and more.

Youth Devotionals
Spaces are created for any youth or
young adult to come together to say
prayers and reflect on important topics
including the equality of men and
women, future careers, and race unity.
We gather to build stronger friendships
and support one another.

Young Adult Gatherings
The young adults gather to develop bonds of friendship, fun and fellowship, sharing life experiences, studying the writings and guidance for building a better society, educational choices and community service.
